  • Coming from a guy who doesn't like baseball and has little faith in new movies.. I actually enjoyed this movie quite a great deal. I thought the beginning wasn't bad then Jonah Hill made it better because I like him. I have to say this is one of the better new movies you see.

  • did anyone else notice that he has tape on his arm 2:21

  • Just rented this movie from Redbox. I was very impressed. I loved the story. I loved the acting. Being a lifetime Minnesota Twins fan from the early 70's, I tend to favor other small market teams over the larger market teams. Over the past 25 years the Twins learned that they can't buy top talent like the Yankees and other large market teams. So the Twins built one of the best (if not the best) farm systems in baseball. See the movie. I think you will enjoy it.

  • I just saw this movie and was deeply moved by it. I love baseball.

  • @fightingfalco well to put it correctly it's unfair. And yeah the Angels do have a high payroll but if u look at the yanks it's still double than our payroll

  • @fightingfalco well rigged may have not been the right word. It was more unfair to small market teams who couldn't afford big key players and every once in a while when they would draft and create their own star ball player a big market team would come in and take that player just like Giambi and Damon in moneyball

  • @theangelsfan97 It's not rigged it's just math. BTW I'm a Nationals fan. A city with more income can spend more than a smaller city with a lower income which obviously can't spend as much. And the Angles are in the top 5 in payrolls so you really can't complain.

  • @JRN2222 Ok so there is this thing. You obviously haven't heard of it. It's called acting!!! A script doesn't make a movie. We don't simply watch somebody read a script. We watch the actors. And what exactly is so bad about the script. The ending? Like I said before this is based on real life just like The Rookie (another baseball movie). Also did you ever think that he stayed in Oakland because his DAUGHTER was much closer to him. As apposed to Boston which is across the country.

  • So funny to watch all the retarded baseball lovers try to say how great this poorly scripted movie was.. Worst movie Ive seen in some time, but of course it takes a brain to actually understand how pathetic it is.. I learn nothing from watching this film other then dont be like Billy Beane, a selfish, obsessive loser, thats too dumb and negative to actually accomplish anything himself. Consistently luck in life yet too stupid to take advantage of anything poor person to scrip as a film..

  • This was such a good movie

  • @ZachJamesFriend Indeed so and you know why? Because for he average crowd a movie like this is too challenging. No guns, no special effects that cost millions, just pure actors playing well thought through characters with depth.
